Job summary

Emporium Human Capital is seeking a Jnr Warehouse Team Leader for the nightshift in Sandton to supervise picking/ loading teams and ensure efficient, safe warehouse operations. You will drive productivity, manage stock control, and implement safety and housekeeping standards on the floor.

The role requires Grade 12 plus a tertiary qualification in warehouse management and stock control, with at least 2 years in logistics or distribution and hands-on experience with MS Office and Great Plains.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in operations, logistics or distribution.
• Experience in warehouse management and staff supervision.
• Solid understanding of stock control and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan rounds and supervise picking and packing operations.
• Prepare loading and oversee the load-out process to trucks.
• Lead picking/loading teams and ensure productivity.
• Work overtime as required and manage team performance.
• Prevent shrinkage and damages; enforce safety and housekeeping.
• Utilise reporting tools to monitor packers/pickers/loaders.
• Oversee stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy.
• Discipline staff per procedures and maintain teamwork.
