Job summary

Teleperformance in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator for night shifts to oversee staff movement and ensure seamless coordination with drivers, clients and internal teams. You will create and manage waybills, schedule dispatch, track routes and uphold safety standards.

Use a Transportation Management System to plan, monitor, and optimize routes, while maintaining detailed transport invoices and shift handover reports. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating and managing waybills for transport operations.
• Hands-on transport coordination experience, preferably in night shifts.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to stay calm and focused during high-pressure situations.
• Night shift availability, including weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, create and manage accurate waybill documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor timely dispatch and delivery of vehicles.
• Utilize TMS or mobility app to plan, track, and optimize routes.
• Communicate with drivers, clients and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Resolve logistical challenges promptly to maintain service standards.
• Maintain detailed records of invoices and transport data.
• Assist with shift reports and handovers between shifts.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety protocols.
