Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a DC Inventory Clerk to join the team. The main purpose is to ensure replenishment on bins within the Distribution system, and to perform continuous cycle counting with stock integrity in the warehouse.

The role requires Grade 12, with advantageous Supply-Chain qualifications and 2 years of relevant experience in a distribution or logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 or Senior Certificate.
• Advantageous: Supply-Chain or Logistics Degree or Diploma
• 2 Years relevant experience in a Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Environment

Responsibilities

• Interpret and initiate continuous inventory, as well as annual stock counts.
• Ensure accuracy of counts and process the counts according to standard operating procedure.
• Maintain FEFO stock rotation and resolve stock issues and errors.
• Update stock reports as required by management.
• Adhere to Good Warehousing Practises, SHE programme and Occupational Health and Safety act.
