Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Midrand invites applications for a DC Inventory Clerk to ensure continuous replenishment in the warehouse and accurate cycle counting. The role focuses on maintaining stock integrity, FEFO rotation, and resolving stock issues in line with SOPs.

Essential: Grade 12 or Senior Certificate; advantageous: Supply-Chain or Logistics Diploma; 2 years relevant experience in distribution/logistics. Permanent role with market-related remuneration and benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Senior Certificate is required.
• Experience in Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• 2 years relevant experience in a Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain environment.
• Knowledge of cycle counting and stock integrity.
• Ability to plan, forecast and administer inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and initiate continuous inventory as well as annual stock counts.
• Ensure accuracy of counts and process counts according to SOP.
• Maintain stock rotation on FEFO basis and ensure stock integrity.
• Keep stock reports updated as required by management.
