Qualifications

• Experience in front desk, accounting, or night audit preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong numerical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Residing in or near Soweto is advantageous.
• Positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day accounting for hotel departments, including room charges and taxes.
• Balance cash and credit card transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare daily financial reports for management.
• Manage guest check-ins/outs during the night shift accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns overnight.
• Ensure hotel security and safety during the night.
• Handle telephone communications and direct calls.
• Perform basic administrative tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area.
• Assist with wake-up calls and guest services as needed.
