About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join their team in Upington . This crucial role involves overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring the security and satisfaction of guests. You will be responsible for balancing the day's financial transactions, preparing reports for management, and providing attentive service to any guests requiring assistance throughout the night. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong numerical accuracy, and can work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a professional presence during late hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-day financial settlements, balance accounts, and prepare daily reports for management.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and courteously during overnight shifts.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor hotel security during the night, addressing any issues or emergencies as they arise.
• Respond to phone calls and operate the hotel's telephone system.
• Ensure the lobby and other common areas are tidy and presentable during the night.

Requirements

• Previous experience in front desk operations, accounting, or bookkeeping is highly desirable.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
