Job summary

Sygnia Asset Management is seeking a high performing New Business Operations Consultant to manage the end-to-end processing of inflow instructions in a dynamic LISP environment. You will validate and capture new work, ensure compliance and timely follow-up.

Key duties include due diligence, product and business validation, handling client requirements, reconciling deposits, reporting suspicious activities, maintaining dashboards, and collaborating with admin and client service teams to support

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in financial services or operations.
• Exposure to LISP/Employee Benefits environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Pension Fund Act, FAIS, FIC Act, Long Term Insurance Act, CISCA, FATCA/CRS.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence procedures on instructions to assess acceptability under laws and regulations.
• Perform product validation procedures on instructions per applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform business validation procedures in line with the LISP Terms and Conditions.
• Request and manage outstanding requirements by engaging with clients and business partners.
• Inspect and analyse bank accounts to match unallocated deposits to client instructions.
• Report suspicious activities within the business structures promptly.
• Capture accepted instructions accurately in varying systems and dashboards.
• Maintain daily updates of dashboards to ensure SLAs and processes are not compromised.
• Collaborate between the administration team and Client Service Team.
• Foster relationships that support Sygnia Group and LISP strategies and vision.
• Identify process gaps and report findings to the line manager.
