Qualifications

• Express courier, road freight, or logistics experience is advantageous.
• Strong contract negotiation and pipeline tracking experience.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

Purpose:

Pitch tailored domestic or international delivery solutions, manage sales pipelines, and coordinate with operations teams for client onboarding.

Duties include:

• Lead Generation: Prospect and qualify high-value corporate leads, B2B shipping accounts, and enterprise contracts
• Solution Selling - analyse client supply chain needs to design custom express, road, or air courier solutions
• Tender & Proposal Management: Prepare formal commercial proposals, pricing rate approvals, and bid tenders
• Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain updated CRM records and deliver weekly sales activity or forecast reports
• Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with operations and customer service to guarantee smooth client onboarding and service level agreement (SLA) delivery
• Market research: Watch local shipping competitors and spot new industry trends.

Key Requirements

• Matric and relevant sales/marketing qualification
• 2-5 year years of dedicated B2B external sales or business development experience within the services industry
