Job summary

Aculocity is seeking a NetSuite Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support NetSuite solutions with cross‑functional teams. You’ll translate operational needs into secure, maintainable software from requirements through deployment and production support.

You’ll own customizations with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, SuiteQL, and integrations while ensuring data integrity, security, and scalable processes across sales orders, inventory, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS/SE.
• 3+ years of enterprise app or ERP development experience.
• 2+ years of NetSuite development and support experience.
• Strong SuiteScript 2.x and JavaScript skills.
• Experience delivering or contributing to at least one production integration.
• Practical SQL and data-analysis skills.
• Experience across development, sandbox, UAT and production environments.
• Understanding of authentication, permissions, API security and credential handling.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions, dependencies, risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, SuiteQL, and saved searches.
• Translate requirements into designs, estimates, tasks, tests, and deployment plans.
• Support sales orders, purchasing, inventory, fulfillment, e-commerce, and reporting processes.
• Build integrations connecting NetSuite with external systems via APIs or middleware.
• Maintain security with least-privilege access and secure credential handling.
• Test across sandbox, UAT, release-preview, and production; prepare deployment steps and rollback plans.
• Collaborate, review code, document runbooks, and guide junior engineers.
