Aculocity is a global technology consulting company seeking a NetSuite Engineer in Cape Town to design, develop, integrate, and support NetSuite solutions across the platform.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, engineers, product owners, and partners to translate operational needs into secure, maintainable solutions and own implementations from requirements to deployment and production support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise application development or ERP engineering experience.
• 2+ years of NetSuite development and support experience.
• Strong SuiteScript 2.x and JavaScript skills.
• Experience with SuiteFlow, custom records, saved searches, SuiteQL, and transaction scripting.
• Experience delivering or contributing to at least one production integration.
• Practical SQL and data-analysis skills.
• Experience across development, sandbox, UAT, and production environments.
• Understanding authentication, permissions, access control, API security, and credential handling.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs clearly.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain customizations using SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, SuiteQL, saved searches and custom records.
• Translate requirements into technical designs, estimates, development tasks and deployment plans.
• Support processes for sales orders, purchasing, inventory, receiving, fulfillment, drop-ship, item management, e-commerce and reporting.
• Build integrations connecting NetSuite with external platforms via APIs, scripts, files or middleware.
• Maintain security, code quality, and protection of sensitive data; address technical debt.
• Test and deploy across sandbox, UAT, release-preview and production; prepare deployment instructions and rollback steps.
• Support production operations: diagnose incidents, perform root-cause analysis and establish monitoring.
• Collaborate and share knowledge: maintain docs/runbooks and guide junior engineers.
