First things first: This is NOT a finance job.
Yes, it involves finance systems. Yes, you'll work with finance teams. But if you're here to do reconciliations and journal entries... this isn't your moment. This is a hands‑on, problem‑solving, user‑supporting, system‑fixing IT role. Think less "spreadsheet jockey" and more "NetSuite superhero".
Company and Job Description
- A globally connected business that keeps things moving across multiple regions (yes, your work will have real impact)
- Let us say it louder for the people at the back: THIS IS NOT A FINANCE ROLE
- It's an IT support role focused on NetSuite and finance systems (you fix the system, not the spreadsheets)
- You’ll be the person people turn to when NetSuite goes rogue
- A mix of support, training, improvements, and projects-so yes, you’ll stay busy
- You’ll help make systems easier, faster, and less frustrating for users
- Work across a global environment, where no two days look the same
- Perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems and preventing them from happening again
Key Responsibilities
- Be the hero who provides expert‑level support when users hit a wall
- Keep on top of support tickets, because chaos is not the vibe (hello SLAs)
- Deliver a great user experience, even when things go wrong
- Help manage user access and system security (you hold the keys)
- Spot repeat issues and think: "right, let's fix this properly"
- Get involved in system improvements, upgrades, and new solutions
- Play a part in projects – testing, tweaking, and making sure things actually work
- Create documentation that people might actually read (a rare and valuable skill)
- Help build and deliver training content so users stop clicking the wrong buttons
- Constantly look for ways to make the system and everyone's life better
Job Experience and Skills Required
- You've got 3 – 5 years' of NetSuite support experience under your belt (you’ve seen things… you’ve fixed things)
- Solid background in finance systems support – bonus points if you’ve worked with ticketing systems without losing your mind
- You understand finance processes, but your real talent is making the system behave – not doing the finance itself
- Comfortable learning new systems and figuring things out when there's no manual (because let's be honest… there often isn't)
- Strong communicator who can translate tech speak into actual human language
- You can juggle tasks, priorities, and the occasional "urgent" request that isn't really urgent
- A self‑starter who takes initiative and doesn't wait around for someone else to fix it
- Thrive in a global environment – time zones, remote teams, all part of the fun
- Experience in support + training is a big plus (you’ve helped users before they break something… or after)
- Adaptable, proactive, and armed with a "let's just get it done" attitude
