Job summary

NCR Atleos in Johannesburg is seeking a PS Software Engineer with a strong software development background and at least 2 years of experience with the .NET Framework. You will develop, test, debug and support software while collaborating closely with development and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities include coding to specs, unit testing, defect resolution, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and code quality across environments. ATM domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development using the .NET Framework.
• Experience with developing, testing, debugging and maintaining software applications.
• Experience with unit testing and supporting software QA activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot across development and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop code based on provided functional and technical specs.
• Participate in coding, unit testing and code reviews.
• Support QA processes through defect resolution and testing.
• Troubleshoot issues in development, test and production environments with the team.
