NCR Atleos is seeking a PS Software Engineer to join our Johannesburg-based team. You will develop, test, debug, and support software solutions using the .NET Framework, collaborating with development and QA colleagues to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development experience using the .NET Framework.
• Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
• Experience with unit testing and QA activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot across development and production environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• ATM industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop code from functional and technical specifications.
• Participate in coding, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Support QA through defect resolution and testing.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Analyze, optimize, and performance-tune applications for reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
