Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager in Stellenbosch to drive national sales execution and lead the marketing strategy for multiple wine brands. Qualifications

• Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• WSET Level 2 or higher advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years experience in a sales and/or marketing role, with a strong emphasis on sales execution.
• Proven track record of driving and achieving sales targets.
• Experience managing multiple brands or working within a group structure.
• Experience in key account management and trade relationship building.
• Wine industry experience advantageous.
• Drive national sales execution to meet or exceed volume and revenue targets across all regional brands, with strong oversight of stock, displays and distributor performance.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key distributors, retailers and trade partners, with a focus on restoring and growing local distributor volumes and supporting international key accounts.
• Write and activate annual marketing plans, ensuring consistent, impactful brand presence across in-store, digital and trade channels in South Africa and core export markets.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and consumer behaviour, feeding insights into brand and sales strategy and contributing to annual planning cycles.
• Lead, train, coach and hold accountable the Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring clear targets, strong training, and a delivery-focused team culture.
• Compile and manage the regional brands' sales and marketing budget, directing spend to the highest-impact activities and tracking ROI.
• Collaborate across winemaking, finance, operations and the wider commercial team, representing the brands at trade events and ensuring excellent customer service.
