Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, based in South Africa, is hiring Sales Development Representatives across the country who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role involves thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• B2B sales experience and a track record of meeting quotas.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
