Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.
• MBA or relevant master's degree would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior Operations, Sales or Commercial leadership position.
• Direct accountability for sales, profitability and people management.
• Experience in retail, service, restaurant or multi-outlet sectors.
• Experience in a multinational organisation or franchise-led model is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence across company-owned and franchised restaurants.
• Translate the national operations strategy into consistent execution across the network.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, customer experience and operating standards.
• Ensure restaurants operate consistently with brand and service standards.
• Build a unified, performance-driven operating culture across the network.
• Develop and maintain relationships with franchisees and key stakeholders.
• Lead field operations teams and provide guidance across the SA network.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Commercial, Marketing and People and Culture teams.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Improve costs across fixed, variable and above-store to strengthen the business model.
