Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking a Business Development Manager for Chemicals & Fuel warehousing in Johannesburg. The role centers on driving high-value contract wins, developing warehousing infrastructure, and transitioning delivery to dedicated regional teams after contract closure.

The incumbent will lead from lead generation through to contract finalisation, with significant national travel and stakeholder engagement to secure strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in chemical and/or fuel logistics with warehousing or storage infrastructure.
• Proven track record securing large, high-value B2B contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage and negotiate with executive-level stakeholders.
• Independent, self-driven and comfortable with a high national travel load.
• Background in companies offering specialised chemical or fuel warehousing services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Close new warehousing deals targeting high-value clients and revenue.
• Manage the complete business development lifecycle from lead generation to contract finalisation.
• Handover operational execution to regional teams after closure.
• Support expansion of warehousing facilities in Cape Town and Durban, replicating existing models by Q4 2025.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and build long-term strategic client relationships.
