A regional train operator is seeking a skilled engineer to join the Plant Maintenance and Facilities Team. You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring the machinery is always operational. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 NVQ or recognized apprenticeship in Engineering and be adaptable to challenging situations. This is a full-time on-site role located in Newcastle, offering competitive pay and a range of employee benefits.

Role details: Engineering function, Fleet Level 4, salary 46194 per annum, on-site role, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday early/late day shifts.
