Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced moulding technician to manage all mould changes across the plant and to set machines to best-practice standards. The role requires exposure to injection or blow moulding, and a proven track record leading tool and mould changes in FMCG manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years setting experience, mechanical/technical aptitude, and will contribute to maintaining high quality products, rigorous housekeeping, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years setting experience in production/manufacturing FMCG or similar.
• Exposure to Injection or Blow moulding processing and setting is essential.
• Must have experience in leading Tool and Mould changes in current or previous role.

Responsibilities

• Managing all mould changes throughout the plant
• Setting machines according to the best practices
• Conducting mould and material trials as required
• Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements.
• Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced, and stored.
• Ensuring top quality products are produced.
• Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and safety
• Any other duties reasonably requested by Team Leader or Manager.
• Prepared to work overtime when required.
