Placements24 is seeking a Regional Branch Manager to oversee operations across Mossel Bay and surrounding Western Cape branches. You will lead banking teams, drive regional sales targets, and ensure impeccable customer service and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong relationship management, and a hands-on approach within the Mossel Bay community. A Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in banking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in banking/financial services management with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products and regulations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Residency or relocation within commuting distance of Mossel Bay.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct operations of multiple retail banking branches within the region.
• Drive sales performance and achieve regional targets for loans, deposits and other financial products.
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and client relationship management.
• Recruit, train, mentor and develop branch staff to achieve high performance.
• Oversee branch compliance with banking regulations, policies and procedures.
• Manage branch budgets, expenses and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Implement strategic initiatives to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all branch operations and assets.
