Job summary

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Team Leader (Mobile) based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will drive growth targets for mobile betting, analyze financial info, manage costs, and report on performance within the Purple Team.

Lead a team, recruit and coach sales agents, and collaborate with Area Managers to meet promotional goals. The role requires a track record in leadership, quota over-achievement, strong customer insight, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months in a leadership role.
• Track record of over-achieving quota.
• Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities.
• Strong listening, communication, presentation, and social skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Area Managers to meet required targets.
• Plan marketing campaigns/promotions/events with the Area Manager and regional marketing team.
• Facilitate daily promotional activities.
• Ensure marketing material is available and in good condition for all campaigns.
• Manage stock (daily report on stock levels and usage).
• Measure the effectiveness of promotions using Promo Tracker.
• Conduct market analysis/research for improvements in the mobile department.
• Recruitment and interviewing in coordination with Area Manager and HR.
• Lead performance reviews and day-to-day people management (PIP).
• Manage leave, absenteeism and attendance.
• Identify potential Top Up Voucher outlets and visit outlets as required.
• Organise continuous training on betting types, processes, products and TUV.
• Weekly Moodle/Betstrike and Voice note training; Trainer on Wheels.
• Ensure cash-ups follow procedures and report shortages immediately.
• Ensure Booster vehicles are clean, branded, inspected, and serviced.
• Submit Daily Reports.
• Any other related duties as required.
