Job summary

The Church in Durban is seeking a Mission Support Supervisor to assist the Mission Support Manager with facilities and properties, ensuring upkeep and compliance with maintenance standards.

You will supervise the mission home attendant and mission driver, coordinate leases and building projects, and work with HR on staffing, onboarding, and performance reviews to meet mission needs. Regular reporting and vendor management support safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification.
• Five years of facilities and property management experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Exposure to front-line management in a multi-disciplinary work environment.
• Professional communication with mission leaders, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supervises mission home attendant and mission driver.
• Coordinates and reports facility needs to mission leadership.
• Manages apartment leases, renewals, and closures.
• Oversees building maintenance projects and vendor management.
• Conducts annual performance reviews with HR.
