Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a leading mining and resources recruitment consultancy in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, to find a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will own the full recruitment cycle, sourcing skilled professionals and coordinating interviews, with a focus on mining and heavy industry roles.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in recruitment, strong stakeholder management, and experience with ATS systems and Boolean and social media sourcing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Boolean search and social media recruiting.
• Experience using ATS systems and recruitment software.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and operational roles in mining and resources.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and culture.
• Develop sourcing strategies using niche job boards and networks.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate offers, background checks, and references.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS.
• Provide market insights on talent availability and salary expectations.
• Support employer branding for clients.
