Job summary

The role requires a Grade 12, a N4 Engineering trade certificate, and at least 5 years in quality control within a Supply Chain environment, with strong English and Afrikaans communication.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Trade Test Certification with a minimum N4 Engineering Certificate is required.
• Minimum 5 years of operational quality control experience in a Supply Chain environment.
• Minimum 2 years of operational artisan experience recommended.
• Proficiency in MS Office; JD Edwards or similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Inspect critical spares upon receipt.
• Provide technical assistance to procurement and category managers.
• Evaluate suppliers and compile service level agreements.
• Catalogue and maintain stock items.
• Manage maintenance records and quality control.
• Ensure SHERQ adherence in the working environment.
• Uphold professional work ethics.
