Placements24 seeks an Operations Lead to manage and optimize mining service delivery in the Bloemfontein region. You will lead and mentor a team, ensure safe deployment of personnel and equipment, and drive efficiency while meeting client timelines.

You will oversee budgeting, equipment maintenance, and adherence to HSE policies, reporting performance and pursuing continuous improvements to elevate service standards in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• Experience in operational management in mining or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations relevant to mining.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities for mining services in Bloemfontein region.
• Ensure safe deployment of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Develop and implement plans to meet client demands and timelines.
• Lead and mentor operational staff including supervisors and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost savings.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and fleet.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure service satisfaction.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Monitor performance via KPIs and report to management.
