Job summary

Hexagon Mining is seeking a Hardware Technician to provide site-based and remote system support, deploying new and upgraded mining systems at customer mine sites. You will troubleshoot, configure software and operating systems, and create system reports for customer requests.

The role requires strong knowledge of mining systems, collaboration with Project Managers, and adherence to QHSE policies in a challenging environment with heat, dust and variable conditions.

Qualifications

• Mining or related field experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in mining hardware installation or maintenance.
• Fluency in English; French an advantage.
• Experience with remote teams is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and review project proposals and plans with colleagues and customers.
• Execute projects with defined phases, elements and schedule.
• Prepare cost estimates and load configurations for systems and servers.
• Maintain project data and documentation; ensure QHSE compliance.
