Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably mining or heavy industrial.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards for mining environments.
• Experience with variable speed drives, motor control, and LV/MV distribution.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for mining machinery and infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system designs.
• Conduct electrical load assessments and component selection.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and site personnel for integration and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and improve system performance.
