The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field and at least 4 years in similar roles, with strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills for diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or similar role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse community groups.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of social impact assessment and community development principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement plans and strategies.
• Act as the primary contact for local community leaders, stakeholders, and residents.
• Address community concerns, grievances, and feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
• Facilitate communication between the mining operation and the community regarding project updates and impacts.
• Support the development and implementation of community development projects and socio-economic initiatives.
• Monitor and report on community relations activities and their effectiveness.
