Job summary

Sandvik Mining invites applications for a senior sales/account management role in Kempton Park. You will define customer solutions and manage relationships with mining engineers, consultants and contractors to maximize value from Sandvik offerings.

Requirements include a degree in business management or engineering, Grade 12, and at least five years in mining sales or related account management, with strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in sales and account management within mining or heavy industry.
• Degree in business management or engineering; Mine Manager cert advantageous.
• Strong English communication and client-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Propose solutions to customers and assist with planning for implementing products into mining applications.
• Provide inputs to Product Support and Sales Support on unmet customer needs.
• Develop sales proposals and conduct Feasibility/ TCO based analyses.
• Maintain up-to-date competitor information and market activity.
• Capture and update CRM data (Aurora) and related Sandvik platforms.
• Engage with mining engineers, consultants and contractors to improve productivity and safety.
• Prepare site visit reports and assist with financial/budgetary reviews.
