The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Metallurgical/Mineral Processing Engineering and at least 6 years of mineral processing experience. You will work with diverse minerals and contribute to processing technology advancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mineral Processing Engineering.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in mineral processing operations or a related field.
Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, comminution, solid-liquid separation, and extractive metallurgy.
Proficiency with process simulation software (MetSIM, HSC Chemistry) is highly desirable.
Experience with process control systems and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize mineral processing circuits (crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching).
Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to recovery and throughput.
Conduct pilot plant tests and laboratory studies for new technologies.
Develop control strategies to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support to plant staff.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations for plant upgrades.
Ensure safety and environmental compliance in the plant.
