Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in security management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within mining or heavy industry.
• Proven experience developing security protocols and risk management plans.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and perimeter security systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive situations with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific security policies, procedures, and contingency plans.
• Manage and train on-site security personnel, ensuring efficient deployment and performance.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and operation of CCTV, access control, and alarms.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, liaise with law enforcement and legal departments.
• Ensure safety and security of personnel, assets, and operations.
• Manage security budgets and procure necessary security equipment and services.
