Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NQF4) is required.
• NQF5 Mining Safety Qualification is advantageous.
• NQF6/7 Safety Diploma or Degree or related Qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and Minerals Act.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and support risk mitigation in collaboration with senior safety leadership.
• Coordinate internal and external safety audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety documentation and records for inspections and reporting.
• Report non-compliance and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
