Placements24 seeks an experienced Mine Operations Superintendent to lead our mining team in Upington. This senior role ensures safe, productive execution of drilling, blasting, loading and hauling, while managing costs and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements include a Mining Engineering degree, 10+ years in mining operations with 5+ in supervision, open-pit and underground experience, strong leadership and communication, and knowledge of South African mining regulations.

About the Role

This senior management position is responsible for the overall day-to-day execution of mining activities, ensuring targets for safety, production, and cost are met and exceeded. You will manage shift supervisors, coordinate resources, and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
