Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in electrical engineering with focus on industrial automation and control systems.
• Proven experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and power distribution.
• Familiarity with mining electrical standards and safety regulations (SANS, Mine Health and Safety Act).

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and commission electrical systems for mining automation and control applications.
• Develop and maintain PLC logic, SCADA HMI interfaces, and industrial communication networks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, mining standards, and company policies.
