Appsierra Group in Johannesburg, South Africa, is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer. You will build features with React and Next.js, collaborate with a Laravel backend, and ensure robust frontend performance. The role is hybrid with two in-office days per week.

You will own code quality, participate in reviews, and contribute to end-to-end tests using Playwright, while leveraging AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React and Next.js.
• Proficient TypeScript skills.
• Strong SSR and hydration understanding.
• Experience with frontend caching and performance considerations.
• Familiar with state management tools (Zustand/Redux/Context API).
• Experience shipping production frontend features and debugging browser/Node/SSR.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features using React and Next.js.
• Develop fast, reliable frontend interfaces.
• Work across the stack to deliver end-to-end features.
• Implement effective state management and architecture.
• Handle SSR, hydration, caching, and performance considerations.
• Collaborate with Laravel backend on API contracts.
