Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (React + Node.js) for a remote South Africa-based role. You will build scalable frontend React apps and robust Node.js/NestJS backends, work with PostgreSQL on AWS, and contribute to architectural decisions while ensuring platform reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of commercial Node.js development experience.
• Strong React frontend experience for modern, scalable apps.
• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, REST APIs.
• PostgreSQL design, queries, and data access.
• AWS Lambda/ECS/API Gateway exposure.
• CI/CD, Git, testing practices.
• English at B2+ level for collaboration.
• Ownership across the SDLC.
• Collaborative with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern frontend React applications for planning and management workflows.
• Build robust backend services with Node.js and NestJS and REST APIs.
• Deliver end-to-end features from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Deploy and operate apps on AWS cloud-native infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural discussions and establish standards.
• Support CI/CD, code reviews, and release activities.
• Investigate incidents and improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and international teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
