Job summary

Lesaka Technologies Inc. is seeking a driven Sales Executive for the Lesaka Merchant Division in Free State (Welkom) to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with small businesses, and promote our card payment terminals and POS/VAS solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine product knowledge, technical aptitude, and strong customer service to expand our merchant network and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in a technical or product-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
• Ability to install devices and troubleshoot effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales forecasting.
• Proactive in building relationships with merchants and vendors.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities among merchants.
• Prospect and convert leads into sales.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain an up-to-date opportunity status.
