Job summary

Planet Fitness in Newcastle, South Africa, is seeking a proactive Membership Sales Associate to drive new member sign-ups and promote products, facilities and services.

You will meet monthly sales targets, deliver high-quality member service and support retention initiatives, while participating in outreach events and appointments with prospects. Retail hours flexibility and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' sales experience (Health & Fitness or Hospitality preferred).
• Great communication skills.
• Willingness to work retail hours.
• Reliable transport and own cellphone essential.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Sell memberships and market products, facilities and services and meet monthly new member sales targets.
• Support general member satisfaction and retention.
• Engage in outreach events and promotions; find prospects and make appointments.
• Present our services and offerings; deliver superior member service and focus on member retention.
• Perform basic sales related administration and meet daily/weekly/monthly targets.

Responsible of selling of Memberships and marketing of products, facilities and services and meeting with specific monthly new Member sales target as well as supporting general Member satisfaction and retention.
