Virgin Active South Africa is seeking a Service Ambassador to deliver exceptional in-club member experiences across reception, floor, studios, and lounge areas. You will engage members daily, support retention, and assist with digital platform engagement.

The role requires a customer-facing background, strong communication, and a passion for exercise. A First Aid certificate and Reception Academy completion are preferred. Hybrid skills and adaptability are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• Successful completion of Reception Academy.
• Good understanding of digital platforms.
• Sound knowledge of Virgin Active exercise experiences.
• Understanding of customer journey and experience.
• Knowledge of club rules, operating standards and safety protocol.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a face-to-face customer-facing role.
• Ability to resolve member questions and queries.

Responsabilités

• Control access into the facility.
• Communicate and provide information to staff, members and prospective members.
• Deliver on member needs and experiences from entry to exit.
• Adhere to operational standards, and administration policies and procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service to achieve NPS and member sentiment targets.
• Drive digital engagement with members on our platforms.
• Expose members to online or digital exercise offerings tailored to them.
• Retain members by building relations and resolving complaints.
• Promote safe exercise and ensure adherence to club rules and safety protocols.
• Maintain floor cleanliness and overall club presentation.
• Participate in ongoing training and self-development.
