Our client is an established healthcare facility committed to providing quality medical care in a professional and patient-focused environment.

An exciting opportunity is available for a professional, organised and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join a busy medical practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, patient admissions, appointment scheduling and billing, while ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for patients.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and manage admissions at the main reception.
• Accurately capture patient information, admissions and billing using GoodX.
• Ensure correct allocation of patients between CAMP and private categories.
• Schedule, coordinate and confirm patient appointments.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of daily case numbers.
• Respond to patient enquiries professionally and compassionately.
• Provide administrative support to the Practice Manager.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception environment.
• Experience working with GoodX would be highly advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
