iMedrecruit (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist for a specialist medical practice in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be professional, organised and patient-focused, with the ability to manage a busy reception while providing excellent patient service and strong administrative support.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling appointments, billing and medical aid administration, maintaining records and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a medical receptionist.
• Knowledge of medical aid billing, coding and terminology.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).

Aufgaben

• Welcome and assist patients, visitors and service providers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
• Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination.
• Confirm appointments and communicate schedule changes to patients.
• Maintain patient records and update patient information as required.
• Process patient payments and issue receipts.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, medical and financial information.
