Job summary

Zecutive Consultants seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong Business Development skills to identify opportunities in mining and industrial sectors and convert them into technically sound, commercially viable projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to secure new business, translate operational challenges into robust solutions, and lead client discussions from concept to implementation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commercially minded Mechanical Engineer with client-facing experience.
• Ability to translate client requirements into technically and commercially viable projects.
• Experience in mining/industrial sectors and energy-efficiency projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in mining, minerals processing and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Engage with clients to understand operational challenges and energy consumption profiles.
• Translate client requirements into viable project concepts and business cases.
• Develop proposals, technical solutions, preliminary designs, cost estimates and cases for prospective projects.
• Lead or support client presentations and discussions; work with specialists to develop solutions.
• Support negotiations to move opportunities to project award and maintain an opportunity pipeline.
