The ideal candidate has 6+ years in mechanical design, proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor, and knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and FEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of mechanical design/engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD, FEA and material selection.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Rotating machinery design experience desirable.
• Familiar with industry standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for power generation equipment.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses using FEA tools.
• Create drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and field service teams.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues and implement solutions.
• Optimize designs for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Stay current with power generation design technologies.
• Support testing and validation of new designs.
