The role requires a strong mechanical engineering foundation, hands-on experience with industrial equipment, and a proactive problem-solving approach within a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design of industrial machinery or capital equipment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanical systems and components for industrial machinery using CAD software.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform calculations and simulations (e.g., stress, thermal) to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical and control systems.
• Specify materials, components, and manufacturing processes for machinery production.
• Assist in assembly, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in manufacturing, assembly, or field operations.
• Contribute to design improvements and cost-reduction initiatives for existing products.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to industry standards.
