Qualifications

• National Diploma or relevant certification in Mechanical Engineering Design/Draughting.
• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical drafting or design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
• Good attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
• Ensure drawings include all necessary information, such as dimensions, tolerances, materials, and finishes.
• Assist mechanical engineers in preparing and modifying design documentation.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all drawings and design revisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to address any drafting-related queries.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on finalized designs.
