Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking an AWS Pre-Sales Consultant to advise MEA customers on adopting and optimizing AWS cloud solutions. You will align business requirements with technical design, drive discovery, solution architecture, and financial modeling to deliver measurable cost and business outcomes.

In this role, you will participate in RFPs, lead cost optimization initiatives, and present value-focused demonstrations to executives. Hybrid work model and global learning resources are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology pre-sales, cloud consulting, or Cloud FinOps environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, WAF, and container platforms such as EKS or ECS.
• Expertise in cloud financial management tools including AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Compute Optimizer, and AWS Budgets.
• Ability to optimize cloud spend through Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and storage tiering strategies.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical and financial concepts into business outcomes for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Qualify AWS opportunities by assessing technical, commercial, and financial viability.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to design cost-effective AWS solutions across Infrastructure, Data & AI, and Application Modernization.
• Lead cloud financial management discussions and identify opportunities for cost optimization through architectural improvements and AWS pricing models.
• Manage the technical sales lifecycle, including RFP responses, proposal development, and contract discussions.
• Deliver executive-level presentations, workshops, and demonstrations focused on business value, ROI, and cloud transformation outcomes.
• Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews with an emphasis on cost optimization and long-term customer success.
