Job summary

Agoda in Cape Town is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to support performance marketing initiatives through data-driven insights. You will work with search, display, and modeling tasks to optimize campaigns and dashboards for account managers.

Ideal candidates are fresh graduates with a quantitative degree, fluent English, strong numerical reasoning, and proficient in Excel. Exposure to SAS/R/SPSS/Python/SQL is a plus, and a curiosity to learn in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a top university in a quantitative subject (computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics or science or related fields).
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Good numerical reasoning skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Intellectual curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Search: Experiment with text ads, bidding, and campaign structures on Google, Bing, Baidu, Naver, and other search engines.
• Display: Test, analyze, and optimize campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.
• Modeling: Analyze the vast amounts of data generated by experiments, develop models we can use for optimization, and build dashboards for account managers.
