Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Workshop Manager, Production Manager or Works Manager in commercial vehicle body building or heavy structural steel manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural, mechanical and hydraulic drawings.
• In-depth practical knowledge of cutting, bending and welding processes, including MIG/flux-cored welding.
• Experience with chassis integration, tipping mechanisms and tanker systems will be essential.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Proven experience managing and leading workshop teams.
• Hands-on leadership approach with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Trade Test or tertiary qualification in relevant field is advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
