Job summary

Humankind is seeking a driven CA(SA) with post-article experience to join its finance team. The role focuses on delivering accurate management accounts, financial reporting and insightful analysis to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate will translate complex financial data into actionable insights and work closely with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• Post-article experience is essential.
• Experience in management accounting, financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, equipment or commercial environment will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Analyse financial performance, including budget vs actual variances.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse costs, profitability and operational performance.
• Prepare financial models, reports and ad hoc management analysis.
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities within the business.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to improve financial performance.
• Assist with financial planning and forecasting.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance optimisation initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to senior management and other key stakeholders.
