Job summary

Italtile is seeking a commercially minded Group Accountant to join our finance team. The role focuses on analysing financial performance, supporting strategic decisions and ensuring robust financial reporting across the business.

You will partner with operational stakeholders, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights to drive profitability and continuous improvement. 3-5 years' accounting experience and strong Excel/SAP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' accounting and financial reporting experience.
• SAICA/SAIPA articles will be advantageous.
• Financial and commercial acumen with strong Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support informed business decision-making.
• Review monthly financial performance, identify key trends, and provide variance analysis.
• Monitor balance sheet integrity, working capital, and financial risk indicators.
• Provide oversight of capital expenditure, inventory, and key financial controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and performance management processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, statutory requirements, and governance frameworks.
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and year-end processes.
• Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
• Collaborate with operational and management teams to enhance profitability, efficiency, and business performance.
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles will be advantageous.
